    Good afternoon, Deer Class parents!

This week has been a fantastic end to a wonderful half-term.

We have been tremendously busy both in the classroom and on our school trip!

In English, we have been describing both characters and settings from our class book. The children really enjoyed coming up with lots of wonderful adjectives to use.

In Maths, we have been exploring place value. The children have excelled in understanding what place value means and how we can apply it to various problems.

In Art, the class created some lovely seascape collages of sea creatures to tie into our class book.

And of course, we can't forget our amazing trip to St Paul's Cathedral! The children were in complete awe of the building, and they loved seeing the things we have been learning about the Great Fire of London come to life.

Thank you all for your continued support and the love you have for your children. It has been an absolute pleasure working with them this half-term, and I wish them all the best with the next steps on their learning journey!
