We have had an exciting week in Deer Class!

In English, we investigated poetry, specifically shape poems. The children did a wonderful job learning and performing a shape poem for the class; everyone was so brave! We then used our creativity to write our own fantastic shape poems.

During Maths, we explored finding 10 more and 10 less than a given number. The children investigated this concept using hands-on manipulatives, group discussions, and written examples. It has been lovely to see everyone in Deer Class trying their absolute hardest.

In Art, we celebrated the season with some autumn leaf finger painting, adding beautiful, colourful leaves to our class tree display. Meanwhile, in R.E., we learnt about Shabbat and explored what this special day of rest means to Jewish people.

It really has been a fantastic week of learning in Deer Class!
