We have had a wonderful, action-packed week in Deer Class.
In Maths, the children became number detectives as we explored fact families. They worked hard to understand the clever relationships between different number sentences, discovering how addition and subtraction facts link together.
Our English lessons took a step back in time as we began researching the fascinating life of Samuel Pepys. The children have been enthusiastically gathering facts to compile into their very own detailed history fact files.
A huge thank you to everyone who sent in photos of their wonderful pets and animals from home. The children absolutely loved sharing these, and it made for a truly brilliant and engaging Science lesson on living things.
Creativity was also in full swing during Art this week. We experimented with sponge printing, exploring how to layer textures and use different shapes to create unique pictures with this exciting medium.
It has been an incredibly busy but rewarding week, and we are so proud of how hard Deer Class has worked!
