This week in our History lesson, the children had a great time creating their own timeline of their lives. We discussed key moments in our lives and memories we have too.

In Literacy, we introduced the book 'The Girl Who Thought In Pictures'. This was a wonderful opportunity for children to discuss how we are all different and special in our own way. We also discussed and practised writing simple sentences using the correct punctuation.

In Science, the children explored their sense of taste through tasting a range of foods. They discussed the various tastes they could taste and how these can be described.

In Maths we have been learning about grouping objects and accurately counting how many are in a group. We have challenged ourselves to then explore the concept of 'number representation'. We have been representing number in a variety of ways, such as representing the number 5 with 5 counters or 5 cubes.

In Art, we created self-portraits using natural coloured pencils and mirrors to help us!
